CSR initiatives of Samsara Group intends to create social, environmental, and economic value, thereby making positive changes to the society. We are committed towards improving the society we live in by creating, supporting, and nurturing corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and initiatives that make a sustainable and measurable impact on communities that we serve.


We are committed towards improving the quality of lives of people and believe in integrating with local community by promoting growth. Our policy aims to contribute towards sustainable development of the society and environment to make planet a better place for future generations.

As part of its dedicated approach to serve the communities in which it operates, Samsara Group has been undertaking a series of initiatives over the years to actively contribute to various social welfare causes.

    • Project Nanhi Kali was initiated by the K. C. Mahindra Education Trust (KCMET) with the aim of providing primary education to underprivileged girl children in India. Samsara Group contributed to the Nanhi Kali project which has helped to provide primary education to around 1190 girls.

 

    • Samsara Group has contributed to Transformation of Adivasi Village Akloli, Zilla Parishad Primary Schools by adopting “ANGANWADIS” under Adopt-A-School project which were renovated through civil works, sanitation, playground, landscaping, painting & furniture.

 

    • Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping (NMIS) is a Reputed 50 Years Old Shipping Management Institute Offering education in Shipping Management with a vision to encourage, promote and assist the study of shipping business in all aspects. Samsara Group contributed to NMIS which will help promote education of commercial Shipping through financial assistance for needy students.

 

  • Samsara donated funds to support the project to adopt government and non-government schools launched by Ramkrishna Seva Mandal, Mandvi, a branch centre of Gujarat Ramakrishna Vivekananda Bhav Prachar Parishad.
  • The Father Agnel Ashram is a charitable institution in India. Founded under the inspiration and guidance of the Father Conceicao Rodrigues, the movement started with an orphanage and a trade school in carpentry. Today, it caters to full-fledged schools, industrial training centres, polytechnics, engineering colleges at the bachelor and post graduate levels and a School of Management. Samsara Group has contributed to the Father Angnels Ashram which will help support education through vocational training for needy students.
  • Samsara Group has contributed to the noble initiative by The Tata Memorial Hospital, TATA Ruhi and “ImPaCCT Foundation”, Mumbai with a vision of No child with cancer should “die in the dawn of life” for want of funds and has helped provide Chemotherapy treatment to children.
  • Hrudaya – Cure a Little Heart Foundation was founded in June 2005 with a vision to build a world class organization to provide treatment for economically disadvantaged children with pediatric heart disease (under the age of twelve) and to provide education, training and research opportunities to advance treatment. Samsara Group contributed to the Hrudaya foundation which helped carry out treatments for children born with Congenital Heart Disease.
  • Samsara Group has contributed to Bai Jerbai Wadia Children’s Hospital for Ventilators. These state of the art machines equipped with the latest technology and categorized as ‘life saving / support system’ will help save lives of premature born babies.
  • Indian Red Cross Society’s BelAir Hospital – Funds donated for procuring and installing ventilators for the treatment of critical patients during the pandemic.
  • MUMBAI PORT TRUST (MBPT) – Ambulances were donated to Mumbai Port Trust during the pandemic.
  • Habitat for Humanity India is a non-government organization that seeks to eliminate poverty housing guided by the vision: “A world where everyone has a decent place to live”. Their core areas of intervention in India are Decent Shelter, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) and Disaster Risk Reduction and Response. Samsara Group contributed to the Habitat for Humanity India which supported 365 families with water wheels in order to improve the health and hygiene
  • Funds donated for purchase of required equipments for Orphan and Needy Children at SAMPARC Balgram – Bhaje.
